In this retelling of Robin Hood for Easter, Rabbit Hood steals eggs from the snooty chickens to decorate them and hide them for kids on Easter. The chickens used to willingly give up their eggs, but this year Farmer John hires Cluck, a mean chicken bounty hunter, to catch Rabbit Hood. We have Friar Duck, Little Juan, and many familiar characters, and our young audience is invited onstage to participate in the play, which ends with an Easter Egg Hunt.

 Birthday Parties with Active Imagination Theatre

Imagine a unique birthday for younger children ages 4 – 8 at Beowulf Alley Theatre.  First, they participate in the newest play by Active Imagination Theatre, the renowned troupe of improvisational actors who perform for children on weekends and holidays.  Following the show, the party-goers stay for approximately an hour of merriment that includes more acting games, face-painting, magic tricks, puppetry, and of course punch and cake. The birthday parent supplies the cake, while we supply the table cloths, napkins, paper plates, paper cups, punch, and entertainment. If you've ever hosted a five-year-old's birthday party before, you know it's best not to do it in YOUR home (but we can arrange that, too), and this will be a party that the children will remember for the rest of their lives.

Just $150 for up to 10 children. Additional children are $15 each. Parents of child are free. Other adults who attend a performance pay the at-the-door price.
